At Iris Alcoves, we stand by our work and our customers. We believe permanent jewelry should come with permanent support—which is why having a fixed studio location you can come back to sets us apart. Whether it’s a quick repair or a full refresh, we’ve got you.

Life happens—if your chain gets caught or pulled, it may stretch or break. That doesn’t mean it’s the end of your piece.

Please don’t toss it or lose it!

Keep it safe and schedule a repair—we’re happy to help.

Even if your jewelry was purchased elsewhere, we offer foreign repairs for just $10.

Our Warranty

• Break at the weld? Free repair.

• Chain broken but still fits? We’ll add a jump ring at no charge.

• Chain broken and no longer fits? We can add chain or a connector (priced accordingly).

• Chain beyond repair? A new one will need to be purchased.

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges on lost or stolen pieces.

Yes! Our permanent jewelry is water resistant and designed for everyday wear; including showering, swimming, and active lifestyles. We use high quality materials from reputable suppliers to ensure durability and comfort.

Please note:

Certain environmental factors can still affect your jewelry over time. Exposure to harsh chemicals (like chlorine in hot tubs or pools), sulfur in some local water systems, or even shifts in your body’s pH levels (often influenced by hormones) can speed up tarnishing or wear—especially with sterling silver and gold-filled metals. These are natural, unpredictable factors outside anyone’s control.

If you ever have concerns, we’re happy to help. A quick in-studio cleaning often makes a big difference!

Because each piece is custom fit and cut just for you, all sales are final.

If you decide your permanent jewelry no longer works for you, you can carefully snip it at the jump ring and keep the chain! You’re always welcome to come back in—we can reattach it, adjust the placement, add a clasp, or even transform it into something new.

For example, we can often turn an anklet into a bracelet and ring!

Not local? No worries—you can mail it to us and we’ll send it back after adding a clasp. (shipping paid by customer).

Unlike traditional jewelry that may have clasps, our permanent jewelry is crafted without clasps, offering a seamless, comfortable, and hassle-free wearing experience.

Our expert welding process is safe and designed to ensure the integrity and security of each piece. We adhere to the highest safety standards when welding your jewelry. There is no suspected risk; however, all customers will be required to wear safety goggles during the linking application. Your stylist will add a protective barrier between your skin and new jewelry piece during the application for safety. Please note that all customers will be required to sign a consent and awareness of policies form.

Yes! Fine jewelry is not required to be removed through airport security. 

If you have any allergies to silver, gold, or have a pacemaker, permanent jewelry is not recommended. If you have a medical appointment requiring you to remove the jewelry, you can safely do so by cutting the piece at the jump ring (as shown during application). This allows the piece to remain preserved for reuse/reapplication. 

We require a $25 non-refundable deposit to reserve studio time just for you. We understand life happens; thus, you can reschedule without losing your deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or do not show up, you will forfeit your deposit. All deposits go towards your service at check out.
